1. Good acoustics
The combination of wood and cement gives Remak® Woodwool panels a unique surface structure which absorbs sound and reduces reverberation time in a room.
The Remak ® Woodwool formulation is as simple as the product itself you see. It was first made in the world in 1935, by mixing wood fiber and cement with water, and we created a product that combines the strong properties of cement with the natural properties of wood. The result is a safe, sustainable new product with many super features.

Remak® Woodwool panels are a natural, breathable material which can absorb and release moisture. Because it is derived natural materials, the product also does not cause skin irritation.
Remak ® Woodwool are manufactured natural materials that are extracted with minimal environmental impact and are naturally degradable in the form of fertilizer.
The wood shavings in Remak® Woodwool panels is encased in cement and therefore the panel has low flammability.
Remak® Woodwool panels combine the strength of cement with the flexibility of wood. Remak® Woodwool panels are a rugged, durable material, even when subject to moisture or ball impacts.
The characteristic surface structure gives Remak® Woodwool panels their unique expression. Lighting and speakers can be combined and integrated in a complete ceiling.
Remak ®Woodwool is made of Acacia and pine local industrial forests. Industrial timber is a renewable resource, as more is planted than is logged. Wood is also a CO – neutral resource, as it absorbs as much CO during its growth as is emitted during its management, logging and transportation. We use certified wood, guaranteeing that it can be traced back to responsible forestry operations.
The production of Remak® Woodwool panels uses only cement Vietnam Portland, which extracts the raw materials the Vietnam bedrock with minimal environmental impact. Chalk and sand are the key raw materials used to make Portland cement. Both chalk and sand is extracted in Vietnam, where sand dredging helps keep sailing channels navigable.
Finally, water - a liquid necessary for all the most basic life, including hydrogen and oxygen.
Remak® Woodwool cement-bonded wood wool panels are made of 100% natural materials: wood and cement. We use acacia and pine grown in Vietnam which is the wood comes responsibly managed forests.

Remak® Woodwool panels are made exclusively local raw materials – Acacia and cement Vietnam and the environmental impact transportation is therefore minimal. We have a broad distribution network of local dealers in our export markets and thus, transportation to end users can be optimised.
We have been manufacturing Remak® Woodwool cementbonded wood wool panels at our factory in Hoa Binh. The production of Remak® Woodwool panels takes place under modern conditions in a closed system without any waste water discharge.
Remak® Woodwool panels contain no harmful substances or allergens and have qualified for the best Indoor Climate Labelling categories. Remak® Woodwool panels are also recognised as a hypoallergenic product.
Wood and cement are naturally biodegradable materials. Remak® Woodwool cement-bonded wood wool panels can be composted and returned to nature as a soil conditioner. The cement in Remak® Woodwool acoustic panels boosts oxygen levels during the composting process, while the wood adds organic material to the compost.
The open material structure reduces sound reflection and makes Remak® WoodWool a good sound absorbing material. A material that reduces noise and contributes to quiet sound in buildings, offices, businesses and public spaces.
